Pie Shell
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups Crisco
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 tablespoon sugar
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 egg

Apple Pie Filling
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 5 1⁄2 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples

Crumb Topping
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 cup quick oats
- 1⁄2 cup butter

Caramel Topping
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- 1⁄4 cup butterscotch topping
- 1⁄4 cup caramel topping
directions
- .Heat oven to 375. Place pastry in a 9-inch deep dish pie pan and crimp the edges. In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Toss the apples with sugar mixture and pour into pie shell.
- Thoroughly combine crumb topping ingredients: The brown sugar, flour, quick oats and 1/2 cup butter. Sprinkle over apples in pie crust.
- Bake 20-30 minutes then cover with foil and bake another 20 minutes until apples are tender. Remove pie from oven and sprinkle on the pecans and drizzle the butterscotch and caramel sauce.
- Optional: You may toast your pecans in sauce pan with 1 Tablespoon of butter then put them on top of the pie.
