Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

    cups cooked ham (cubed)

    cup onion (chopped)

    medium potatoes (sliced)
  • 1
    can condensed cheddar cheese soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12
    cup milk
  • 14
    cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1
    tablespoon butter (melted) or 1 tablespoon margarine (melted)

    teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • In a 1 1/2 quart casserole layer half of the ham, half of the onion and half of the potatoes.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Mix soup, milk, and 1/4 tsp.
  • pepper.
  • Pour over potatoes.
  • Bake, covered in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until potatoes are almost tender.
  • Mix bread crumbs and margarine.
  • Sprinkle on top of potatoes.
  • Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes more.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
