1. A simple and simply delicious desert topping. I used frozen peaches and served it over ginger ice cream. This is a must have recipe! You can transform even the simplest desert into a super special treat. Thanks Mysterygirl!

 2. Alrighty...I don't drink, so I didn't have any of the suggested liqueurs. I quickly made this with a dash of vanilla and some brown sugar for the added flavor. I used frozen peaches that had been defrosted. And instead of ice cream, I poured this over a homemade shortcake. Yummy! A quick version of peach cobbler that was really easy!

 4. Great simple dessert. I used frozen peaches, French vanilla ice cream and Grand Marnier. The orange flavor was very subtle but added just the right amount of intrigue. Thanks MG.

 5. My family is not crazy about orange liqueur so used 1 Tbs. orange liqueur and 1 Tbs. fresh orange juice. Suited us just fine. Spooned over vanilla ice cream for some, peach ice cream for others, with a scoop of whipped cream. Everyone enjoyed- mostly because it wasn’t too sweet or overpowering.

Tweaks

 1. I made this ahead of time for company. Can be quickly warmed in microwave right before serving. I had two fresh perfectly ripe summer peaches so I reduced the sugar (used two tablespoons which was plenty given how sweet the peaches were). For more "sauce" I used two tablespoons butter and two tablespoons of triple sec. As another reviewer mentioned, the orange liqueur is subtle, but adds nice flavor. Also added a pinch of salt. After removing the pan from the heat I added some lemon zest. Amazing!!!

Back then the original owners Troy and Gay ran the site and they had a lot of interaction with the members. I miss them.

Through the years it still remains to this day my favorite go to site and the one that I send all of my friends and family to when they need anything.
8724616"
