Sausage Gravy (For Biscuits & Gravy)

- 1 lb pork sausage
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 1⁄2 cups milk
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon liquid smoke
directions
- Brown sausage in pan (I use a cast iron skillet).
- Remove meat with slotted spoon, allowing some of the grease to be transferred with the meat. Drain the rest of the grease out of the pan.
- Return meat to pan over medium heat. Sprinkle flour over meat & whisk. Gradually add & whisk milk to make a roux.
- Add worchestershire & liquid smoke. Continue cooking until desired thickness.
- Serve over bisquits.
