Sausage Breakfast Rolls

"This is a must have for breakfast. I made this one sunday morning and my husband loved it so much he asks for it every sunday. If you make the rolls with a lot of the mixture only one package of cresent rolls is needed. If you make the rolls with a smaller amount there may be enough for 2 packages of cresents. You can also use biscuit rolls if you like."

  1. These were very good! I used maple sausage. I have a hard time finding something my DD will eat before school, but she loved these.I baked them the night before, and the popped one in the microwave for 30 sec. and it worked great! I'm gonna try freezing them and see how that works. Thank you so much!

  2. What a nice idea--tucking sausage into the crescent rolls. I used 1/2 pound of turkey breakfast sausage and for 8 rolls still had filling left over. These were served with scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes. Made for *PAC Fall 2008*

  3. These rock! I used all low-fat ingredients, and doubled the recipe - making one set of rolls w/ cream cheese, and one without for my hubby. We love being able to grab these and heat them really quickly for breakfast --- as we both go into work around 6 am and don't have a lot of time to cook in the mornings. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Used 2 packs of 8oz crescent rolls, and used 1lb sausage (original) and 16oz cream cheese and had lots of filling left over. Baked crescents according to directions and they came out great!

  5. These were scrumptious! I halved the sausage and cream cheese, and still had a bit left over. They were very nice for breakfast; I used hot sausage, as that is what I had on hand. Very Easy - I also baked on 350º for 14 minutes and they were nicely browned. Thanks, Dancergirl1307, for a great recipe! Made for Spring PAC '09.
