"I got this from a fundraiser cookbook. It's mild enough that my girls liked it, yet tasty enough for dh and me."

  1. This is a tasty casserole that makes a lot; it would be great for a potluck. I had some fully-cooked spicy sausage that I used for this, so I cut the sausage into thin slices instead of crumbling. I also had some sliced fresh mushrooms that I added with the pepper and onion. This filled my 9x13 pan to the very top.

  2. I just had this at a friends. Its a great recipe for a crowd. Just double or triple it and serve with garlic toast and salad. So easy and satisfying. Yum! Thanks for posting.
