- 1 1⁄2 fluid ounces vodka
- 5 -7 fluid ounces grapefruit juice
- margarita salt
directions
- Salt the rim of a highball glass and fill with ice.
- Add vodka and juice and stir.

What? 2 ingredients? And I never heard of this till a couple weeks ago? I had this in martini form & came here to see if there was a recipe. Wow. Great stuff. Used a local vodka. This will be a repeat. Thanks! -
I use a little less grapefruit juice. I juice half of a medium to large grapefruit and I do add a teaspoon or two of simple syrup as needed. Yum! If you like grapefruit and enjoy the salt rim on your margaritas, you'll love this drink! I use gin instead of vodka, but both are great! -
What's not to love in this drink? Grapefruit juice is good for you, right!? Made for the Redskins victory over Miami 9/9/07! DELISH! -
This is a great drink, very refreshing. I tried the "Greyhound" too, but did prefer this version with the salt!
