Salty Chihuahua

  • 1 lime wedge
  • coarse salt
  • ice cube
  • 1 (1 1/2 ounce) jigger tequila
  • 5 ounces lemonade (made from fresh squeezed lemon juice)

directions

  • Wet the rim of an Old-Fashioned glass, then dip in salt. Fill glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in tequila and lemonade. Squeeze and drop in the lime wedge. Stir and serve.

  1. WOW, I'm so glad that I tagged this. What an absolute keeper this is. I'm going to need to stock up on lemons and limes because this could very easily become habit forming!. I cut the Tequila in half with all else being the same and what a real delight it was. I might just make another one and head back out to the deck and enjoy summer while it's here today :D. I should say that I think my salt might have been to big because it had some trouble sticking to the glass. Who cares, enough stuck for it to be good and salty. Thanks so much TX for this little wonder.
