Salsa De Aguacate (Avocado Sauce)

"A simple dip for plantain chips, fried yuca, fried plantain, or potato chips. Try it on beef tacos or burritos too."

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 2 small avocados
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 1⁄4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (like Tabasco) (optional)
• 1⁄4 cup sour cream
• 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
• 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
• salt & freshly ground black pepper

directions

1. Peel and chop avocados and place in a blender or food processor.
2. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, Tabasco (if using), salt and pepper.
3. Blend or process until smooth; mix in cilantro.
