  1. I have been making a version of this for years. I use 8 oz of cream cheese microwaved for 25 seconds. I add 2 heaping tablespoons + 1 level tablespoon of my fresh homemade salsa. It always disappears within a very short time after serving it. I do put it back into the frig to set up some. I serve it from the frig or leave it covered on the counter for 20 min or so...delicious!

  2. I used to make this all the time in college and on occasion now - I use neufchatel cheese and heat it up before stirring in some salsa (my favorite is black bean and corn, but as stated, any is good). Pretty great late night study snack! Glad to see that others enjoy it too.

  3. Absolutely love the combination of salsa and cream cheese. I served with Ritz crackers instead of tortilla chips - yummy! Made for Fall 2012 Pick A Chef.

  4. It's so simple to make and it absolutely tastes great! I never would have thought of mixing the two together.

  5. Party pleaser for sure...never any leftovers and usually the first appetizer to be finished!! I add a light dusting of garlic powder over the cream cheese and top it all off with shredded Old Cheddar or Tex Mex cheese.
