"If you like salmon and balsamic vinegar, then you'll love this dish. It's super quick and so easy to prepare. It's especially good with roasted vegetables and a mixed greens salad."

1. Easy and tasty. I omitted the water. Definitely a keeper!
2. When cooking salmon fillets, I normally make a "gravy" of soy sauce, fresh lime juice, spring onions and a red chili pepper (two if I'm feeling in a hot mood!). But I was out of soy tonight so tried this recipe using balsamic. I found the sugar made it too sweet so would omit that in the future. However, balsamic works just as well as soy, so thank you! Accompanied with baked beef mushrooms and rice makes it a weekly yummy meal for me! Oh and I also normally bake the salmon in tinfoil with a knob of butter for 15 mins as this keeps it moist.
3. This is one of my favorite recipes that I've found on Zaar. It's very easy to fix and adds something different to the standard lemon treatment for salmon. I sometimes add a thinly sliced onion when I'm cooking the salmon. Wonderful recipe. Thanks so much for posting, Bobbie!
4. That was one of the best salmon recipes I have ever had!!! Even though I overcooked salmon, this recipe was fantastic!
5. My DH and I loved this salmon recipe. I had to go out of my way to find a good salmon fillet but would do so again in a heartbeat. I made no changes to the recipe and would recommend it as it stands wholeheartedly.

This is a picture of me with my oldest grandson, DJ and was taken this past summer when we went on a cruise and land tour of Alaska. I am retired after working for the same company for 25 years. My husband is a retired military officer. After the military he started working for Lockheed and is now retired from there as well. We live in San Jose, CA and have lived in the same house for over 33 years. We have two grown children and 6 beautiful grandchildren. I love to try new recipes and jazz up old ones. Taste of Home and Southern Living are my favorite recipe magazines(I enjoy reading a little bit about the people who submit the recipes). Recipe Zaar is just an incredible site. I've made many new friends since joining. I have tons of cookbooks -- but now when I need a new recipe that I know I can count on, I come here!
