Very nice salisbury steak recipe. Instead of broiling I cooked them in a skillet. The meat mixture is soft and falls apart easily so I had to carefully flip them. Loved the sauce and next time will buy two packets of brown gravy mix so I can double the ingredients. Used dijon mustard for the sauce and it worked very well. Thank you looneytunesfan for posting the recipe!

I prefer to grate half a Vidalia Sweet Onion into the meat, and then form the patties, and make the gravy with the mushroom mix, and boil up some red skinned potatoes, make a small salad, and presto, meal time,,, it really was delicious.

Since I cannot have all the salt from Liption Oninon Soup Mix and Lipton hasn't made a NON GMO soup mix yet... I use fresh Organic yellow onion, Organic onion powder and Organic toasted dried onion Fabulous!! :)

I like to use Campbells receipe with French onion soup- package gravy doesn't taste very good.

Just made this, and it was great! I did make three changes - mostly because I was feeing three people and not two. I made three patties from the same amount of ground beef and found that to be plenty to get three good-sized patties. However, I needed to add some jarred beef gravy as there was not enough for three. I also used dijon mustard and found it to be a great flavor.
