ingredients
- 4 sprigs of fresh mint
- 8 whole cloves
- 3 quarts water
- 1 ounce tea leaves
- 1 lb sugar
- 8 lemons, juiced & reserved
- 6 oranges, juiced & reserved
- 1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
directions
- Place the mint & cloves in the water, bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, add the tea, steep for 10 - 15 minutes, strain immediately dissolve sugar in the hot tea. Stir in the fruit juices, Refrigerate after it has become room teperature.

Since my other half isn't all that enthused when I use cloves in a recipe, I was surprised at how well this tea was received, but perhaps it was because of the citrus juices that were included, something we both thoroughly enjoy! This recipe really dresses up a glass of ice tea very nicely! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]1Reply
