I've made salad nicoise many times and love it. One day at work I asked my Vietnamese co-worker what nicoise meant? He said "Ohhh, fancy French salad!" Sigh.... Then I asked since it means salad, isn't "salad nicoise redundant? Should one say I had nicoise for lunch today? "Yes" ;)

This is the only salad I've ever eaten and wanted more of!! I'm not a huge salad person, but with the potatoes, tuna and eggs this is a proper, hearty meal. That dressing is absolutely fantastic as well; I wanted to drink it!!
