What a great 'quick sourdough' recipe when I need it! I was looking (frantically) for something to change up my Turkey Sandwich leftovers, and this did the trick! I had to add 1 tsp of active yeast to get a rise in time for dinner. This was great! For my mixed herbs, I used some fresh thyme and powdered onion. With my turkey, I did a bit of roasted garlic mayo and cracked pepper. Loved it!

Wonderful bread (this was better than the Rosemary Sourdough bread at Whole foods that costs $4.00/loaf and so easy too!) that is perfect with stew! Instead of the dried parsley we used thyme because the stew we had this bread in also used thyme. To make this bread I used Sourdough Starter by KimmieOH recipe#67075 but used it on day 3 -- still good but will probably be better next time if I waited the whole time. We will be making this often to have with soup/stew. Thanks for sharing!

I'm a real estate agent in the lovely city of Rochester, New York. That's not what I expected to do with my life. I got my bachelor's in psychology, my masters in literacy education, and I taught high school special education for two years. Then I discovered that helping people find the homes of their dreams was my real passion. I've been doing it for over two years now and still absolutely love my career.
Other than that, I have a very spoiled Border Collie mix named Bear that I adopted from a local shelter in spring '08. He's gorgeous and fun and brings me great joy. Now if only I could find a man like that... LOL!
