Rose-A-'Rita (cocktail)

"This is a Strawberry Margarita with a twist. Tequila Rose Liqueur is one of the ingredients. Tequila Rose is Strawberry Flavor Cream Liqueur and Tequila and is pink, creamy and tasty. I have made this drink two different ways. In a blender, which makes the drink foamy because of the 7up, and in a tall glass. I got the original recipe from the Tequila Rose web site and improvised it a little bit. If you want to, you can use Club Soda instead of 7Up. I don't know how it tastes with Club Soda though. It is a very refreshing drink."

Ready In:

• 14 cup tequila rose strawberry cream liqueur
• 12 cup strawberry margarita mix
• 34 cup 7-Up soda (or Club Soda)
• 18 cup tequila (optional)

• In a Blender: Place all ingredients in a blender.
• If you want a stronger drink add the tequila.
• Blend until well blended (about 15-20 seconds).
• Pour into a tall glass.
• The drink will be foamy when made this way.
• In a glass: Pour the 7up (or Club Soda) into the glass first to prevent the drink from foaming.
• Add the Tequila Rose and Margarita Mix and mix well.
• If you want a stronger drink, add the tequila and stir until well mixed.
• Garnish with a strawberry if you want to.
• Now sit back and relax and enjoy your drink.
• Warning!
• If you add the extra tequila you might not be able to taste it.
• This can cause more than one drink to sneak up on you.

1. This was a hit :D
2. Yummy is the only way to describe this... I made it with Baha Bob's low carb strawberry margarita mix and added the tequila and fresh strawberries. It was great, but it does pack a punch so be forewarned. It makes a great dessert drink and will be a good beach drink. Thanks for sharing.

I just love to cook. I love to experiment with different recipes and love to get new ones. I love to share my recipes and love to have others taste things I make. I baked a lot while I was living at high school. I have babysat for over 33 years for different people I have cooked meals for them when it was needed. At one time, I babysat 2 children in my apartment and cooked dinner for them, their mom and their grandmother. I loved it. I took care of them for a couple of years. The name AuntWoofieWoof has a very special meaning. I babysat for a family with 3 children in their home several years ago. One day the youngest boy came up to me and said "Aunt Woofie Woof......." and proceeded to say what he had to say. He called me that name for 2 days. When I asked him where he got the name from, his reply was "It was on a Dr Suess tape my momma got me at the Library". I thought it was so cute that I decided to use it on the internet. I babysat for that family for 8 years!! That little boy is now in middle school. I still see him and his family every now and then. His mom and I keep in touch over the phone. I usually spend Thanksgiving Day with them. It is fun watching the kids grow into fine young adults. The oldest daughter, is in her early 20's, is working and has her own place. She is a beautiful young lady. I am a Substitute Playground Supervisor and a Crossing Guard at an Elementary School. I love both jobs. <img src="" border="0" alt="RSC-HiddenGem-part"title="Photo and Video Sharing"/> .
