Roasted Garlic-Pepper Green Beans

"Try something new with tonight's green breans. This is a very easy side dish and a nice change from the traditional. Top with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs if desired! Also, I double the spices when cooking for my husband."

  1. OMG!! These were wonderful! I'm in love with them...I want more!! I used young green beans and roasted them for about 20 minutes. This is a keeper...thanks so much for posting! :)

  4. Great change from the hum-drum sautéed or boiled (yuck). I add slices of green / red bell peppers, diced tomato and substitute minced garlic instead of the power.

  5. A wonderful change from steamed/sauteed string beans. Thank you.

Tweaks

  1. This was FANTASTIC! My entire family said that they were the best green beans they've ever eaten, and everyone wanted seconds (which sadly, we didn't have...) I used a clove of minced garlic and garlic salt in place of the garlic powder and regular salt. Yummy!
