  1. I made this because hubby loves rueben sandwiches so I figured he might like this. We both enjoyed it and it was nice to try something different. I really didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

  2. I made this simply because it was so unique. I had many people say they liked it, and a couple that thought it was o.k., thus my rating. I didn't try it, so the rating is based on others comments. A very easy recipe to throw together. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe.

  3. This recipe sounded so strange I had to try it. It was much better then I expected but nothing I'd care to make again. If I were to make it again I think I'd use less sauerkraut.

  4. I don't like sauerkraut but my husband does so I bravely made this for him and guess what? It was delicious. We both loved it and I learned to eat something new.

  5. One great soup!!! I made this for Christmas Eve and what a hit it was. Santa stopped by and tried some and almost went out of the roof raving about it! When I made this recipe I sauteed some onions in butter and made a sauce with a little flour to thicken, then I added a little chicken broth and substituted half & half for the milk. Wonderful!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Hi! I'm a 30ish woman living in KCMO with my cat--or should I say, she lets me live with her! I love to cook, and often cook and bake for my coworkers at the bookstore where I used to work. My favorite foods are desserts and breads. I tried the no-carb diet once and lasted all of one day :)!When I'm not cooking, I love to do crafts, go to movies, and read. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I'm addicted to crime TV shows and some reality shows like "Trauma: Life in the E.R." & "Paramedics". I also collect cookbooks. I'm looking forward to posting recipes and getting to know fellow "foodies"!
