The concept is simple, they look terrible though, as the chocolate never would melt enough to press the m & m into the pretzel. I wonder if some kisses are different. I tried different temps and times, the chocolate was seizing up too. I'm sure the kids will love them regardless.

Can you make these with mini twist pretzels? No waffle pretzels here.

Hmmm! I'm not sure! We've never had any issues... I just made them a couple days ago. My only thought/suggestion would be that maybe your oven runs hotter than mine. Perhaps try a lower temp or a shorter length of time? Good luck! I hope it works out because they're really adorable!

The last two times I made these I've had trouble with the Hershey Kiss not getting soft. The chocolate binds up? This ps pretty simple so I can't figure out what is going wrong??

Just made this recipe with my 4 year old son and it was so much fun! He loved that he was able to do the whole project from start to finish. They look adorable and taste fantastic! My only complaint is they are addicting...LOL. I love the salty sweet flavor! Thank you so much for sharing what is definately going to be a holiday tradition in my house.
