DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Melt the baking chocolate with the butter over a double boiler or in microwave-stirring occasionally; set aside.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a small bowl.
  • Pour the cooled chocolate into a large bowl and gradually add the sugar. Next, beat eggs and vanilla into the chocolate/sugar mix.
  • Fold the flour mix into the chocolae mix, then fold in chocolate chips and 2/3 of the Red Hots.
  • Pour batter into pan and spread evenly; sprinkle leftover Red Hots on top.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until the toothpick tells you it's done!
  • Cool one hour then cut into squares and induldge!
