Really Easy, Really Great Spaghetti Sauce

"My mother always made this for her lasagne, and one day I made it to go over pasta and my family loved it. If I alter it in any way, they know, and my son won't eat any other red sauce."

  • Brown the italian sausage in a large skillet.
  • Pour in the cans of crushed tomatoes and basil, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Simmer for about an hour and serve.
  • This is great over pasta, or as the red sauce in lasagne.
