  1. My 10-year-old daughter LOVES the peppermint hot chocolate from The Egg & I and we're on a quest to find a good substitute at home (she's a hot cocoa snob, I'm afraid). I wanted to find one that she could do most of the work herself. I was her helper, but she was able to do everything except for the pouring into the cup all by herself. It was perfect - and REALLY yummy and rich peppermint chocolate taste. We used 2% milk and it was really silky and smooth. A keeper for sure!

  2. Loved it! I wasn't feeling great today and needed a pick me up. I used 2 mini peppermint patties to make 1 cup and it turned out great topped off with extra creamy whipped topping!

  3. This is just delicious. What rich flavors. It was so cold today that this was just perfect. Loved the hint of peppermint. I toped this off with some mini marshmellows. Thanks :)

  4. DELICIOUS! This is a rich & tasty treat. (I used 1% milk and it still tasted really creamy.) Very easy to make. I did use the sugar & didn't find it overly sweet. This is a nice change from the typical hot chocolate! We enjoyed it very much and will make it often!!!!
