  1. Fantastsic!! I used a half of a pound cake from the grocery bakery section rather than frozen pound cake and after assembling this, it looked so good, I couldn't do Cool Whip...had to whip up 1 pint of heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup 10X sugar for the topping. We're talking decadent and delicous! Thanks, MizzNezz for sharing this quick gourmet delight!

  2. very good and super duper easy!! the fresh raspberries didnt look good at the store so i used raspberry pie filling which worked well. I also drizzled chocolate syrup on top which made it look fancy!! Oh, and I found chocolate chunks with raspberry filling in the baking aisle which I threw in there and it worked well!! thanks for the idea!

  4. This was a wonderful recipe. I had never made a trifle before, and this recipe made it so easy for a first-timer. My Husband loved it, and we found it to be a very dangerous thing to have in the refrigerator :) I also love how easily you can adapt this one...I may use vanilla pudding & strawberries next time.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
