Purple Gecko

"Just tried a new drink - kind of ugly, but tastes pretty good. Be careful, it's pretty potent."

• Ingredients: 6
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 ounces tequila
• 1⁄2 ounce blue curacao
• 1⁄2 ounce triple sec
• 1 ounce cranberry juice
• 1 ounce prepared sweet-and-sour mix
• 1⁄2 ounce lime juice

directions

1. Shake with ice and pour into a salt-rimmed cocktail or margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
2. Serve in:.

"It bites me like a mean gecko!"- said my dh after one of these wonderful drinks. Very nice. Like a margarita - and then some. Ours was a pretty dark purple. Mmmmmmm. :)

Wow, mine did end up purple. And even more so, after using all 1 oz blue curacao and no triple sec and cranberry juice concentrate. That was a deep purple gecko. Very dramatical and flavorful one as well!

I enjoyed this more of a green then purple drink! The color didn`t bother me and once you taste it it won`t bother you either! Taste like a margarita! I did sugar the rim after wetting it with a fresh lime slice.Yum!
