"Found this recipe in a high school reference book about various world countries. This apparently is a popular cookie made in Romania. I just made these for the first time and they were pretty sticky. I would recommend refrigerating the dough before baking. The original recipe said to knead the dough, but it's too gooey for that. Something must have gotten lost in translation! :)"

  1. These were o.k. They spread way out and did't have that big of a rum flavor. They tasted like buttery walnuts. I might retry them again after tinkering. If anyone one has luck with these let me know, It could be me. I didn't get 48 cookies either.

The pics are of my favorite band, Night Ranger. All pics of me were too large for the site...sorry! But since nranger7 is my name, it kinda fits to have a pic of them! I enjoy baking in my spare time. My coworkers love me because I regularly bring them cookies. I recently started dabbling in baking pies too. I've been told I should bake for a living, but I'm sure it wouldn't be as fun if I HAD to do it all the time! :)
