  1. This is really tasty, I added a tsp of chicken stock with the milk etc. Thanks for posting. =)

  2. I made this with what I thought were "small' potatoes, and found they took more like 15 minutes to cook. I also placed the frozen peas in a colander and ran hot water over them to defrost them before adding them along with the milk etc. for the last 5 minutes (step8). This recipe was easy, and really tasty, and I will definately make it again.

  3. I made this using leftover boiled potatoes. I used green onions, more cream and less milk and a bit of butter. I was baking chicken so I popped it in the oven until it bubbled and stirred in the cooked peas before serving. A simple and delicious combination and a colorfull presentation - white creamy potatoes with dark green onions and bright green peas. I consider this as both a comfort food and a great addition to a dinner party.

  4. Very tasty, simple recipe. I cooked this very easily on our camping holiday. Leftovers are great fried up in the morning on toast. Thanks!

  5. Either I didnt do this right or it just wasnt my night or something....it turned out very thin. in the past when I have had creamed peas the recipe was thick. Maybe I will have to try some cornstarch or something if I make it again

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
