  1. This is the classic casserole I grew up with. I got the recipe from a youth cookbook of my mom's, and it was a go to during Lent and lean times. The version I made called for all of the ingredients to be mixed together and poured into a buttered casserole, with a handful of crushed chips scattered over the top for a nice crunchy topping. I would recommend trying it with unsalted chips if using salted tuna and regular soup... It cuts the sodium and gives it a better flavor IMHO. Add cooked, frozen peas for a sweet, green pop of freshness. Enjoy!

  4. Have to admit, putting it together didn't look promising, but it all came together wonderfully and everyone loved it! Thinking about trying shaved ham and cheddar cheese soup since the potato chips come out like scalloped potatoes....great & versatile recipe! Thanks!
