Poolside Sangria

"Early in the summer, a friend brought a pitcher of sangria to a bbq. AFter a glass and a half, we were all so drunk we could barely stand! I asked her how she made it and was a little surprised at ALL the alcohol! This is my revised version- intended to be drank and NOT be smashed at the end of it!! GREAT on a hot day of bbqing or lounging by the pool. Enjoy!"

  1. I have to say that I had my doubts about this recipe, but 'the proof is in the pudding!' The sangria was relatively easy to throw together and the taste was great. I shared this with some friends, and one commented that she really liked it, as she couldn't taste the wine. :-) It wasn't strong and it was crisp and refreshing. I enjoyed it (no orange soda 'flavor', that I was afraid of) and am really was glad I took it to share with others! Thanks for sharing, Stephiesrocks!
