  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Peel, core & slice the apples & spread them evenly in a 9" deep dish pie plate.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & egg, then spread this mixture over the apples.
  • Pour melted butter over the flour mixture & sprinkle the cinnamon over that.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until apples are soft.

  2. Yummo!!! I made this in a scaled back version to served two and it was a wonderful breakfast treat. It was very different from most "apple crisps" I have made, as the batter was more of a paste, but still yummy. The only change I made was to add some cinnamon to the batter and then the recommended amount sprinkled on top. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for 123 Tag Game.
     
  3. It is croustillante(crispy). Very nice apple dessert. I was expecting a crisp but it turns out it like a light cake pudding. I made it for 2 and we loved it. I would suggest to put parchment paper at the bottom of your baking pan because it did stick. Thanks for posting. I made this for ZWT5. Rita
