  1. Surprised at how much we really liked this meal! I don't stock canned potatoes, so sliced up some reds i had in the pantry and replaced the liquid that would've been in that can w/ some chicken broth i needed to use up. Because my potatoes were starting from raw and i had a lot of cooking liquid.. i cooked w/ a cover on for a few minutes then removed it and reduced the liquid down. The beans and their juice seemed to create a tanginess... my DH actually thought i'd added something acidic... Very Yummy! (even better reheated the next day!)

  2. This is the perfect dish for one of those days when you come home from work and are just too tired to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. With just three common ingredients that I usually have on hand, this is easy cooking at its best. My husband and I really like this!!!! I cooked until the sausage was just getting crusty. Delicious. Thanks for such an easy recipe.

  4. We fix this at our house as well. We add a sliced onion to the top and let it simmer until the onion is cooked clear. Yummy! One of our favorites!
