Pitta Face Mask

"I saw this on the "ravensymonepresents" website. This is for if your skin is very sensitive, has both oily and dry areas, has low tolerance to hot food, and flares up with acne/rosacea/rashes."

  1. I went to youtube and found ravensymonepresents and the recipe on there was a little different. It said to use a 1/2 of a banana-mashed, 2TB yogurt, coconut milk or whole milk and 1/2 of a small cucumber grated. She also says to do a facial steaming first with tea or rock salt to open up the pours. It doesn't say how long to leave it on so I guess whatever the average is for a typical face mask?

  2. After using this face mask my skin did feel smooth, taught, and refreshed. I do have bouts of acne and will definitely use this mask again. No directions on how long to leave the mask on so I left it on for about 10 minutes. My skin did start feeling tight and tingly but think I should have left it on a little longer. It is tricky to put on because it drips off while you are applying it. I put it on over the bathroom sink so the drips wouldt make a mess. Even with the trouble putting the mask on I think it works great and worth working with. Thank you Chef # Rachael Ray Fam for posting this recipe. Made and reviewed for Spring 2009 Pick A Chef.
