ingredients
- 1 pita bread
- salami
- 2 slices provolone cheese
- sweet-hot mustard
- onion
- tomatoes
directions
- Carefully open pita bread halves and spread hot and sweet mustard on one side. Use one slice of provolone cheese for each half. I found that cutting the provolone slices made them fit better in the pita. Add generous amount of Hungarian Salami slices (I like it sliced very thin). Insert tomato and onion slices. Brush lightly with olive oil and place on panini grill for approximately 3-4 minutes.

Both my parents were really good cooks - but neither was interested in baking. I decided that was going to be my thing. You see, I was the middle child, I was not the first born, or the artist, or the musician, or the youngest, I just was. I always liked to read, unlike my siblings who could be found in front of the tv as often as allowed. And somewhere I got the itch to bake. I am an excellent cook (according to those who clamor to eat at my table), but I always think of myself as a baker.
