Piglet's Haycorn-Popcorn Balls

I got this recipe from my 2nd grade teacher who used to read us Winnie the Pooh. This would be easy for 2nd grade and up to make.

  • Mix sugar, honey, water, butter and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil - DO NOT STIR. Boil the mixture about 10 minutes until a drop of it forms into a ball in a cup of cold water.
  • Coat the bowl of popcorn with the syrup mixture and add popcorn until well mixed.
  • Form into balls, sticky but scrumptious.
