DIRECTIONS

  • Boil vinegar and sugar together for five or ten minutes.
  • Drop in the sliced muskmelon and boil until tender.
  • Last of all, drop in whole cloves and cinnamon bark. Let all boil a few minutes longer, then put in jars and seal, and you have as nice a pickle as peaches.
