  1. Made this tonight and swapped the ham for sausage, this was amazing! It's my new favourite! I won't eat perogies any other way now!

  2. Substituted red peppers for the green, bacon for the ham and added fresh mushrooms. Topped with sour cream and fresh chives from our garden. A new household favourite for our work lunches!

  3. This was really good. I used cream of potato soup as I don't like mushrooms, but did everything else the same. I really liked to sautéed onions and peppers with the perogies. Made for Think Pink 2013

  4. My whole family and anyone I introduce to this receipe LOVE IT. I've done it with farmers sausage, garlic sausage, ham. It's all good.<br/>I do laugh at the recipe for 6 as that's ONLY 3 perogies per person. I'm about to do a 2kg bag for 4 of us, that's how much we love it.

  5. This is my hubby's new fav way to eat perogies. Thank you I can't wait to try the other casseroles that use perogies.

Tweaks

  1. Great recipe! I used fat free sour cream instead of the milk and sausage instead of the ham - next time, maybe keilbossa. I was cooking for my brother and 2 grown nephews. The casserole dish was empty in no time! Thanks!

  2. Not exactly a lean meal, but I was being lazy and wanted a meal in one dish..This definitely fit the bill.. And yes, there are many options of changing this with different veggies, or different meats. I did use cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom..
