- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups finely chopped pecans
directions
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Sift flour, sugar and salt together.
- Work the butter and vanilla into flour mixture.
- Add 2 cups of the chopped pecans.
- Mix well and shape into 1 inch balls.
- Roll each ball into the remaining nuts to coat.
- Bake on a parchment lined cookie sheet, middle rack for 25 minutes.
