ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 dash ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1⁄3 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
- 1 unbaked pastry shell
- whipped cream
directions
- In medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
- Add sugar, syrup, butter, salt, vanilla, cloves and vinegar. Continue tobeat utnil thoroughly blended.
- Stir in raisins and peanuts.
- Turn into pastry shell.
- Bake at 375 degrees fro 45 minute or until firm.
- Serve slightly warm or cool, with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
