Peach Custard Pie With Agave Nectar

Adapted from another recipe, this substitutes the sugar for agave nectar and reduces the other liquids to compensate.

ingredients

  • 1 deep dish pie shell (9-inch )
  • 4 12 cups fresh sliced peaches (about 5)
  • 3 eggs
  • 14 cup milk
  • 23 cup agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

  • Beat the eggs.
  • Add the agave nectar and milk and beat well.
  • Add the peaches and stir.
  • Pour into the pie crust and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Turn oven down to 250 degrees and bake for another 45-55 minutes or until it tests clean.
