  1. Fixed this simple tasty salad for my Bunko group. I used sweet white onion and rice wine vinegar. Had a great flavor! This will be my only pea salad from now on! Thanks Parsley!

  2. I made this for Thanksgiving.I used shredded cheddar cheese, 1 package of precooked bacon instead of ham, 5-6 green onions instead of red onion and cut back on the mayo and used a little bit of sour cream. I also added chopped green pepper and sliced almonds. Thanks for the great recipe.

  3. Loved this salad and it only gets better with some chilling time, I used fresh garden peas that I steamed first, added in 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, used seasoned salt and also did some amount adjustments, thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten")

  4. I cut the mayonnaise down to 1/2 cup, 2 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp sugar... and still my salad seemed to have way to much dressing! However, when I came back here to give my review I realized my mistake. I used only 1 cup of peas instead of 1 pound of peas- duh.... when I have a chance to remake this correctly I will come back and review with a star rating.

  5. Made it without the ham. It was very good. DH loved it...scarfed it down....and it was even better the night after. Great, easy recipe.
