  1. I used more sardines than called for. I also added 1 heaping teaspoon of oregano and basil plus a lot more garlic and I still found the spices to be mild, if good. The raisins are a nice touch. A nice, simple meal.

  2. I made this twice already. The first time I followed the recipe as it is and it tasted great. Loved the addition of raisins. The second time, I added fresh tomatoes and some onions to it.

  3. Fantastic! A great fish number, I'll make it again and again.

  4. Very tasty italian pasta dish. I followed the recipe, except that I used fresh tomatoes, which I have had on hand. The raisins add just the right amount of sweetness for the tomatoes. The sauce is very easy to made and the sardines gave that typical sicilian feeling. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe.

  5. I made this just as described and it was delicious! Instead of putting over pasta noodles, I cut zucchini very thin, sauteed it, and put sauce over that. Great way to get more sardines and omega 3 into the diet!
