- 4 passion fruit, ripe or 1 cup passion fruit juice
- 4 ounces rum
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cups crushed ice
- Angostura bitters
- freshly grated nutmeg
directions
- Cut the top off each passionfruit and scoop out the pulp and juice. Strain the juice and use a spoon to scrape against the side of the strainer to get the juice out of the pulp.
- In a pitcher combine the juice with the rum, sugar, and ice. Stir well.
- Pour the mixture into 4 glasses. Add a dash of bitters and sprinkle nutmeg over each. Serve.
