Pan-Roasted Pork Chops

Pan-Roasted Pork Chops created by Andi Longmeadow Farm

I start these pork chops on the stove top in my cast iron skillet and then place them in the oven to finish cooking. I think the recipe is an adaptation of a BH&G's recipe.

Not sure. My cuts were thick, 1-1/2 inch think. 6-8 minutes in the oven for second side was not enough. Trying another 6-8 minutes. Fingers crossed.

Instead of rubbing it all over the pork chop I just put the dry rub in a big bowl and press the pork chop into the dry rub. Nice and crispy in a lot of coating went on each side

Hi - do you only brown it on one side before putting it in the oven? Thank you, Patti
