Pakistani Spiced Potatoes (ZWT-9)

Found at a cooking-by-country website, this recipe boasts all the things I want from a recipe. It can be served hot or cold, can be served as a starter or a side-dish to virtually all main-courses, can be made ahead, is ingredient friendly & has a 35 min prep time (Cool time not included)..I rest my case. Enjoy!

These tasted great, twissis! The only thing we didn't care for was the texture. The first step calls for boiling the potatoes first, then it's followed up with pan frying them, which I think the boiling made them a little too mushy for us. We did like the taste created from the combination of spices used in this recipe though, so I'd definitely make this recipe again and skip boiling the potatoes first and just jump to the step of frying cubed potatoes (unpeeled). Thanks for a great recipe, twissis.Reply
