ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup all-purpose flour (measured then sifted)
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup apple, peeled and chopped
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F Butter 1-quart casserole or souffle dish.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Beat egg and sugar until light and fluffy. Sir in vanilla.
- Add flour mixture and blend well.
- Fold in apple and nuts.
- Spoon into prepared dish and bake 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
