Overnight Cold Water Rolls

5-6 dozen rolls
ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons dry yeast
- 4 cups cold water
- 3⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 egg
- 12 cups flour
directions
- At 4pm, combine yeast with 1/2 cup warm water and 1 teaspoons sugar. Let stand 10 minutes.
- Combine water, sugar, oil, salt, egg, and yeast mixture. Add flour, cup by cup, until stiff, then turn out on board and knead in remaing flour Knead for 10 minutes.
- Let rise in greased bowl. At 7 pm, punch dough down. At 10pm, for into rolls. Allow at least 1-inch space around each roll.
- Leave, uncovered, overnight on greased pans. In morning, bake for 20 minutes at 375°F.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
