The texture was great. But it began to burn just a little bit. Another time I'll add a little bit more water. I used it to make recipe#407739 Thanks iglowforyou :) Made for cookbook tag game

This is a wonderful way to prepare rice without taking up space on the stove top or counter. I washed the rice before adding it to the casserole dish then topped with the boiling water and mixed. The rice ended up being a bit drier than we like, a problem easily solved by adding more water next time. Made for Spring 2010 PAC

Excellent easy way to make rice, and as another reviewer pointed out, very convenient if you are also making something else in the oven. The leftovers are the perfect texture for fried rice. Thanks for posting! Made for Spring 2010 PAC.

This is a very nice rice iglowforyou. You taught your pac mom a new way to make rice. Mine was a little overcooked but still tasted great. I can see endless possibilities with this dish. Thank you so much for sharing. My dh absolutely loved this dish, so I will be making this often...Pac Momma Kato

Made this with brown rice and didn't add enough water. Other than too-dry rice (my own fault) this worked just fine.
