  1. This is soo good! I made this tonight but I wanted to use up the container of fresh sliced white mushrooms in my fridge. So I mixed the soup with a 1 1/2 cans of water, added the mushrooms and boiled for 4-5 minutes (covered). Then added the rice, and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste :) Delicious!

  2. sooo good, we've been making this for years, we like to add soya sauce too

  3. I used to make this all the time in the 80's. Use 1 can of soup. Note where the "full" line is on the can. Use the same amount of minute rice and milk. If you fill the can to the top, it will be too juicy. To make a complete meal, add cubed or shredded chicken, turkey, etc. You can also add sliced mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower florettes, etc.

  4. Made this with Broccoli Cheese soup...SOOO GOOD!

  5. Delicious, do not attempt with plain rice though no matter how good this sounds.

Tweaks

  1. Much better ratio if you simply do 1 can of soup, 1 can of water or milk, and 1 can of minute rice.
