Old Spaghetti Factory's Thousand Island Dressing
We love eating at The Old Spaghetti Factory, but sadly the one in our area closed several years ago. My mom really likes the thousand island dressing they serve, so I searched the internet and found this recipe. My family loves it!
- Ready In:
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1⁄3 cup onion, diced
- 1⁄4 cup celery, diced
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1⁄2 cup chili sauce
- 1⁄2 cup dill relish
- 1⁄2 cup sweet relish
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons half-and-half cream
- Place onions and celery in food processor and chop until soupy.
- In a large bowl thouroughly mix mayonnaise, onions & celery, chili sauce, ketchup and both relishes.
- Stir in milk and half & half. Mix for one minute.
- Refrigerate overnight.

I love this recipe. It does make a lot of dressing. About 4 (16oz) bottles. Way more than I can use so next time I will halve it. The onion flavor is slightly stronger than I like on a salad so I will probably also adjust that next time. I also found that it tastes a lot like the McDonald's Big Mac sauce so putting this on a burger gives you a home-made Big Mac.1Reply
