DIRECTIONS

  • Boil turnips for 25 minutes or until tender, and drain.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Peel outer tough layer of turnips.
  • Mash turnips (with potato masher).
  • Place in a big bowl and combine with all ingredients.
  • Press into loaf pan - fits into 1 large 9 1/4" x 5 1/4" loaf pan, OR 3 small 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" loaf pans.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until set.
  • Rest for 15 minutes.
  • Loosen sides and invert onto a plate to serve.
