Questions & Replies

  1. Looks delicious! Should the nuts be whole or ground / chopped? Thanks!

  2. I just got through making this bread and it's amazing. So glad I found this recipe. I am curious though, how long will the bread last and what is the best way to store it?

  3. Do you have nutritional info for this bread/loaf?

  4. I did not see where to click so I clicked on the ''Ask'' button. Your recipe is wonderful and I suggest that you add ''Keto'' to the keywords. I guess it could also be in the vegan or vegetarian categories. Anyway, I love these loaves - they are so european and tasty!! Louise in Montreal

  5. Does this freeze well? Wondering I can make multiple batches and put a few loaves back in the freezer. Thanks!

Reviews

  1. It was good, but it needs something... more salt or maybe a cup of dried cranberries!

  2. Love this recipe. It makes a great hostess gift with a nice cheese. Sometimes I make different combos and give 1/2 of two different loaves. One important note. THE BODY DOESN'T DIGEST WHOLE flax seed well, so I grind it (or you can buy it ground), and use the same 1 cup. It works just fine, I also make it without the oil.

  3. I make this regularly for my husband and I (both diabetic) and our grandchildren. For the kids I add a natural sweetener and some dried blueberries, cranberries, raisins or NSA chocolate chips. It's an energy and nutrient dense snack for Tots on the go! Everyone loves it!

  4. So good. I'm Whole30ing right now and this is such a satisfying treat. Sliced it cracker-thin so I can try making crispy toasts. It's amazing right out of the oven, so warm and crunchy.

  2. Not crazy about flax seeds, so I did 1/4 c flax seeds, 1/4 c flax meal, and played with the proportions of the other nuts and seeds according to my favorite and least favorites. Doesn't matter, so long as you end up with 6 cups total.
